Battery / Charging / Start wire gauge size

I'm starting to plan a refresh on battery / charging / start wires and thought this info on the factory wire sizes might be useful to others. This was collected from the factory wiring diagram for a 2002 F-series pick up 7.3 powerstroke with factory dual alternators.
Please feel free to amend/add/correct.

Keep it simple...
2/0 everywhere
Except...
Alternator feed is likely still way oversized at 1/0 but is nice and chunky to the eyes.
Starter feed 2/0 works, 3/0 maybe (MAYBE) better, but it is rush current to a small connector and does not make much difference.

DO NOT SOLDER THIS STUFF..
Proper crimpers on crimp fittings with adhesive heat shrink.

I agree, it will be cheaper and easier for you to buy a roll of cable instead of different sized cables in shorter lengths.
