2002 7.3L F-350 Battery Cable Lengths to make replacements
Hello everyone,
Does anybody know the lengths of all the battery cables for a 2002 7.3? Upgrading the cables, would like to know the lengths so I don’t do double the work.
looking at the front of the truck;
PASSENGER SIDE
negative cable?
starter cable?
positive battery to battery ?
DRIVER SIDE
negative cable?
Thanks in advance!

Reason: Changed thread title from the original "Batteries", which implied the question was about batteries, to a title that reflects the OP's actual question, about battery cable lengths.

Recently pulled mine while I work on upgrading those and some other things.
Rough measurements...give yourself extra inches for a good fit.
PASSENGER SIDE
negative cable = 36", but has a couple of smaller gauge tails - 12" from the neg post to the fender, 17" from the block to the frame.
starter cable = 51"
positive battery to battery = 56"
should also upgrade the alt to passenger battery IMO.
I just bought a 50' spool of oversized 1/0 (2/0) in both black and red along with lugs/ heat shrink...and replaced everything. I had to run cables for my stereo as well, so you wouldn't need that much.
Or as mentioned, there are kits
My truck had: Not sure of lengths
Drivers side:
+ to passenger side
- to block
Passenger side:
+ to alt
+ to starter
- to block
- to frame
- to body (smaller gauge)
- from block to body (Ground strap)
- from block to frame (I believe this was smaller gauge too)

For + to alt, did you just cap the cable that’s tied into the engine harness and just run a separate 2/0 cable from alt to +battery?
I just got some string and added 2 feet. I used welding cable, lot more flexible. Remember, you can use welding cable as battery cable, but you can't use battery cable for welding.
