happy new year from jersey, lots of noise outside, 34 degs, fire going in the wood stove feels great guess my 2 great Pyrenees are going to become hot dogs, laying so close to it, 40% chance of light snow in the reports for overnight

Good morning everyone.
Cold and cloudy this morning. Evening went fine. Sat here on the couch and watched some of the Jesse Stone movies. Great movies.
Heard the fireworks going off up and down the road around us last night. Started around 7 PM and went off now that then till whenever. We went to bed around 11 PM and didn't hear anything else. Slept late this morning. Turned off the 0500 alarm and got out of bed a little after 7 AM to get the coffee going and turn on the gas logs.
Hope everyone had the fun they wanted and got home safe.

Happy New Year West Virginia, Jim, Steve, Charlie, Ken, Roy, Craig, Shaun, Bud, Denny, Neil and all the Mountaineer Crew.
For many of us 2023 was a pretty good year, far better than the previous 2 years. Then there are all those here that had parts replacements! LOL I hope in 2024 that all of you are up, highly mobile and doing whatever it is you want to do!
Yesterday I came to Mom's to spend the night and ring in her 93rd Birthday. We had a good afternoon, took down the tree, all the decorations and cleaned up the Christmas aftermath! LOL the My Friend came up for the evening and we had a wonderful time. This morning Mom is up and all the telephone calls wishing her a Happy Birthday not to mention her answering all the posts on Facebook!
I hope everyone celebrated responsibly and had a good night. But for those who didn't act responsibly, I hope you had an exceptional time, the police were nice and you made the news for the rest of us to see!

Good Tuesday morning West Virginia, Jim, Steve, Mike, Charlie, Ken, Bud, Craig, Denny, Neil, Shaun and all the crew. It was a nice quiet start to the new year in my woods and now we go back at what ever we/you are at!
