Was that tornado recent? I was out picking the last of the raspberries for the year and getting a few flurries....

 

Nah, the tornado was in 2022 in Northern IL, but due to the wind caused by IL sucking, IA gets tornados too.

Yeah, we had flurries here too.

I had my gutters cleaned last wk, they really needed it as our house is surrounded by big trees.

Yep, plus I saw plenty of it when living in France 20 years ago. Grew lottsa brassicas for seed across the globe.

 

I've never heard of brassicas, not something that's grown around here.

 

It's just the family name for all the plants in the mustard family; cabbage, rapeseed rutabaga, kale, broccoli cauliflower, turnip, kohlrabi, b sprouts, etc.

Bright and sunny today, should be a great afternoon for garden cleanup work.
