I've searched the forum but was unable to find any long tube headers for the V10 6.8 Ex.
Does anyone have any experience with long tube headers on the Ex?
For shorties, seems like there are Banks and Gibsons. Any pros/cons for either of those? I notice the Gibsons come with a lifetime warranty.
Any other options?

I’ve had my Banks headers for over 10 years now with zero issues, never even had to retighten them after installation. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ll-w-pics.html
My EX is our dedicated tow rig, and with over 80K heavy (9,500 - 13,000 lbs) towing miles they have seen some heat for sure. I would buy them again if starting over!

Another Banks customer, here. Got them about about three (3) years ago. Before installing them, I sent them to Jet Hot for a silver ceramic coating inside/outside. I’ve got a slight buzzing at certain RPMs, but overall, they are well made.

Check the heat shield on your cat, any play there will give a buzz at certain RPMs.

Thanks for the tip. I’ve been wiggling everything forward of that and found nothing loose, so I bet you are right. I’ll let you know how it goes after checking the cat.

Don’t let the Banks price scare you away too quickly, they offered me a 20% discount with free shipping back when I was shopping for mine, I did find another even better deal on a Black Friday sale.
