I've got a '94 F150 that I just picked up so I don't have any history with it.
It runs rough and feels like it has a misfire. I just replaced the distributor cap and rotor, plugs, plug wires and coil. It ran the same as before so I next went to check the timing. However, when I remove the jumper plug in the spout wire the truck won't start. The timing light doesn't flash anymore so I'm assuming there's no spark now.
I've come across a number of posts about no start with the spout jumper plug in, but none about no start/spark with the plug out.
Has anyone seen this before?
