My wife took delivery of her custom ordered 2023 Bronco Sport Badlands recently and we have, so far, two issues with it.
1) No black top, it is now a $500 option even though when we ordered it IT WAS NOT AN OPTION.
2) Even with the Premium Package and Co-pilot 360 there is no navigation. Again, I don't think 360+, 360++, 360+++, or 360+365XD Supreme Ultra were options.
If I recall correctly, the ONLY thing we did not get as an option was the sunroof. This was LOADED at the time we ordered. Now, the dealer explained that this was built in a "transition period" of new options. I will call them tomorrow and raise my concerns. A "transition period" should not mean we don't get options ordered.
Frustrated as Ford will not even look-up a part for you without a VIN and yet FoMoCo can't get your custom order correct on a $43,000 vehicle.
Other than these two things it has been good so far. The first WINTER will tell the real tale.
So... I checked our order sheet and we didn't order Co-pilot 360 outside of the Badlands and Premium Package, so maybe there was an option to "upgrade" it? Also discovered they botched the tires. We ordered the 235 Falken Wildpeaks and got the 225 standard Perelli AT. Since they are a wear item I don't care so much if these tires make it through a winter it means the GOAT modes are worth it.
And what would the windshield wiper design tell me?
Okay... saw your other post "terrible design". I'll have to have a look. You' think companies would have such a thing like wipers figured out by now. Did they go back to vacuum operated or something?
How long did it take from order to delivery if I may ask? Keep hearing mixed times. We’ve been searching the options she wants and haven’t found one yet. Considering ordering.
I think it was about three months from order date to delivery. Would have been fine with the wait if Ford would have gotten the order correct. Now that I think about it - getting the slightly smaller tire may also mean my gear ratios are not "correct" for a Badlands. It probably doesn't matter on the Bronco Sport, but I don't know that.
Our Bronco Sport Badlands has just over 5,200 miles after a pretty good road trip. The good news? Running premium gasoline we averaged 29.7 MPG! 70 MPH nearly the whole way over 1000 miles. Very happy with that.
