I normally hang out in the Bumpside or FE forums, since I own a Bumpside and built a 445 FE for it, but I recently inherited a late 40s or early 50s flatty when I acquired a new property.
In building the 445 I found the FEPower dot net forum to be an outstanding resource for expertise and parts suggestions. The forum here is not bad, but the deepest expertise clearly existed on Jay Brown's forum.
I'm wondering what is the best flathead forum for looking for advice on a tear down and build. Any suggestions?
This is maybe a little late but I don't get on here often as it is not busy. I went to the book store and ordered some flat head books. One name stands out above all is Vern Tardel or something like that.I love the flattys
