Hello and thanks in advance for Ll the advice. New to forum not sure if I'm in right thread.. so I just inherited a 1983 ford f250 7.5l with 243k on it. Truck was running strong right before I took over the title. The truck now will not stay running. I can start truck with a little effort but truck will start sometimes and run for about 5 minutes and die out. Truck has 2 tanks and fuel pumps truck will run longer on back tank but still dies. No fuel leaks checked vacuum lines I'm at a lost. Not to smart when it comes to carburetors maybe a problem there?
Welcome aboard.
These are classic symptoms of fuel starvation and/or vacuum leak.
Checked the vacuum signal(s)?
Have the fuel filters been replaced?
Carb rebuilt?
Start simple. Perform all of the recommended routine maintenance for that many miles.
That may not solve the problem but it will minimize the number of questions the guy's here will ask.

Okay so I figured out it's the carburetor that needs to be rebuilt but the problem is I'm having to huge issue finding the kit for it does anyone know absolutely which kit I need to rebuild my 1983 Ford F-250 four barrel Holley carburetor holley d5te-9510-aea
IMHO...............Typically the carb rebuild "kits" are crap- either missing critical parts or the parts don't fit or are of poor quality. What I have done that has worked very well for me is to go to a carb rebuilding shop and ask them to put a "kit" together for me. The cost was around $50 but every part was there, fit correctly and worked!!!! The other issue is many forget to take fine sand paper, laying the carburetor block on it side on a very, very hard flat surface and gently sanding the surface.....if it’s not flat/square/smooth, it's likely slightly warped...and although it looks fine is will develop a fuel or vacume leak and won't function correctly.
If you are comfortable with doing the rebuild yourself or have someone local who is and just need a good kit.... or you want to ship yours to them ...these guys have been around a very, very long time and are very good at what they do (this is where I buy my carb parts from)
So I'm having a trouble finding the correct float bowl housing primary that is the front float bowl does anyone know where I can get one or has one that I can buy off of them for a couple bucks that's the last piece I need cuz the one I have somebody JB welded it shut it's clearly cracked I've included the image of the front float bowl that I need
