Location of the fuel pump ground wire on a 2004 excursion
Hi does anyone know the exact location of the fuel pump ground wire, due to my fuel pump relay keeps overheating ive changed the fuel pump switched the blower motor relay with the fuel pump relay, the truck stays idling but wnen I drive for 5 minutes the fuel pump quits or the relay contact disengages, I've also bypassed the inertia switch by twisting the 2wires together, was this a bad idea and is this why the relay is overheating? Or is the ground bad, the frame is quite rusted not rotting yet but close to it just would like to know the exact location of the ground wire if anyone knows thanks a lot. Just hope it's not the fuel pump driver in my EEC or the PCM lol
