Upper oil pan leak(just like mine) & Arod says engine needs pulled..

My 2022 bleeds from exactly the same spot arod point out in this video. I’ve opted to just spray with brake cleaner every time i change oil. The leak is right above oil filter housing where started is. My understanding you could pull all the front end components off to get to it. Arod is saying you have to pull engine..WTH?

Here is mine.

To do it right, yes you have to pull the engine.

yes, and my truck is covered for 150k on this. But I’m at 60k miles and will probably dump it at 100k. As long as it doesn’t get worse I’ll just keep spraying it off, especially if ford wants to do a cab off. I have had many superdutys and have had no major repairs done. Not sure any of the dealers I deal with I would want doing a cab off.

Yes... because of the new variable capacity oil pump on '20 + model years now hangs lower than the block which now means you can't slide the oil pan off with the engine in the truck. Wouldn't be an issue if Ford could design a quality seal on the oil pan.

Yea, I’ll just keep spraying brake cleaner….

but will get it fixed before I trade it off. Ford needs to absorb this cost.

That's too much to ask apparently...

They've got time to design battery powered junk though.

Plus I think in 2021 they went from the silicone gasket to an o-ring.
