2016 Engine into a 2013 Truck Questions
Does anyone have any experience installing a 2015/16 motor into a 2013 truck?
I know there are differences in between the 2 motors. CP4, Turbo setup, Transmission upgrades, etc.
Does the ECM need to be swapped from the 16' truck also? Or can we use all of the old computer stuff and just swap over the long block and have the tuner write new SCT tunes for it. (truck has had weight-loss surgery).

You have to get all the computers with the new motor. I believe everything will bolt right up but the exhaust may be different because of the different turbo. I believe there is some sort of kit you can get to put a newer turbo from 16 to a 13
