20/20 F-250 idles fine pulling a load down the road it's -15° truck keeps saying running hot pull over wait a couple minutes truck starts right back going as long as I stay under 40 miles an hour truck won't run hot
Do you have a snowplow on the front? I have seen that block airflow and make a vacuum up there.
My fan has come on already when running down the road with a plow on.

My Meyer 8 foot Lot Pro, no matter where I place the blade or angle it, gets my truck hotter, both coolant and oil, but not enough to cause a de-rate or CEL.
It's 32 inches high and my truck simply does not like it. I've tried just dangling it above the ground and still not good... Angling it doesn't help.

I've driven in July in 80-90*F weather with a plow on and never saw higher than normal temps.
I towed in 115 degree 10k pound trailer 7 percent grades. If the system is working it works well. I would think thermostat or low fluid. Thermostats are cheap.
