2012 F250 Cab mount pop TSB
I have read a few other threads about people with the same issue - pop under driver left foot from the cab mount. There is a TSB out for it so I know I am not going crazy. I have tried 3 different thickness shims with no luck ranging from 1/16" to 3/16" - even did all new OEM cab mounts all around. Every time I adjust the shim thicnkess and re-torque with loctite the noise goes away for about 50 miles them comes right back - more noticeable when its cold out.
My question is to the guys that have shimmed their front mount what thickness shims did you use?

I tried new mounts and some shims but I don't remember what size. Nothing worked until I spent the extra money for the S&B premium silicone body mounts. I have had them for about a year and all is smooth and quiet!
