1995 f-250 vss issue
Ok the Vss sensor went bad in the 95 f-250. Replaced it with an aftermarket. The speedo had a bad bounce in it wouldn’t let the cruise work. Bought a genuine Ford Vss did the same thing Tried another IC same story. Ohm checked the wire from the vss to to the IC it tested good. Noticed the Vss wasn’t seating all the way down. Took the o-ring off installed the sensor it worked perfectly leaked oil out the hole. So for right now it is RTVed in place.
Anybody seen this before of know a cure for it. I tried several times to seat it no luck. Didn’t what to beat on a plastic sensor.
