The PA Chapter's "Dog Days" August 2022 Chat and B/S Thread
August is here. 2022, like the past couple years, is flying by. Before long, it's going to be sn..well, let's not go there yet.
Carlisle Truck Nationals is this weekend. Unfortunately I won't have something in the show but I'll be there at least on Saturday. It's something I hate to miss, in a small way a home away from home. I could wax sentimental about first shows and 10th anniversaries but nah. Hopefully the weather cooperates.
It's late so that's all I got. You know what to do so do it.
I'll for sure be out at the event Saturday, probably for some part of the day hanging around at the OBS Addicts tent. Who knows, maybe we'll run into each other. Neither of the trademark vehicles (my 98 or 96) will be there, sadly. 98 is in mid-stream of getting a new frame and I've just not had the time to put into the OBS to get it ready. We're so swamped at work - a good and bad problem to have. Good in that we're making money, bad in that it leaves little spare time after work. I've not worked less than 10 hrs a day since probably October of last year, and usually somewhere in there workload lightens up a bit. Not this year.
Pat, you're 100% correct, I'll take the heat over snow any day.
Travis, the rain we got over the past few days has broken the humidity here, which admittedly was welcome.

I’ll definitely be looking for the OBS tent. My daughter loves those older trucks.
Good Morning all! Enjoy the day where ever you are and what ever your doing! I'll be mowing and catching up on yard work! Looks like a typical Carlisle weekend coming up, with thunder showers forecast from Thursday to Thursday! The bright side.......weather forecasters are usually wrong!
damn a/c condenser drain line clogged last night and a good amount of water was puddling in our basement luckily a few minutes with a shop seems to have cleared that issue.
