I did spend some time searching for this topic and none of the results seemed to cover it.
I want to replace the transmission fluid in my 1952 F3; it has the 4-speed standard transmission. Napa, Advanced, etc all recommend Type FA ATF. Is that what you guys would recommend / use?
Also, noob question but how do I tell what size clutch I have? Looks like 10" or 11" are the options? I am likely tearing into the clutch and transmission soon and would like to order a replacement clutch kit to have it ready to go.
I use 80-90 gear oil in my T98.
I looked at my manual and it says SAE 90 for 32 degrees and above SAE 80 for below 32 degrees. Now my manual is a 54-55 but it's probably the same. I've heard of people putting 140 in (more than just fordf348)
It does say the Fordomatic needs ATF Type A. Maybe that is where NAPA is confused.

Thanks - consensus seems to be the 80 - 90 weight gear oil.
