I have 460 did timing ,runs like ****, have to start in first to get power , I need vaccum pics cause I don't get diagram . Is the 3 port tree closed off, where is right side vaccum and why is it not running right. Is it the vacuum
Did you remove the spout when you timed it at 10* BTDC.
I read the directions on truck bout warm up, stop, pull spout, start truck warm, timing light,( when I do timing light do I want to unplug the vaccum) . Once get timed kill truck and reconnect spout. Then start . It is 2 degrees advanced right due to spout. What degrees advanced do I run it at. Also when I do where does fuel regulator go to , and the tree port is the other two blocked off.

Removing the spout removes the computer from controlling the timing. You set the base timing to 10 degrees before TDC. Plug the spout back in and the computer takes over and works the timing to programmed parameters. Nothing to do with vacuum when setting timing. I think you should send some pictures of your vacuum questions for the forum to better help. Was it running ok before you set the timing?
My fuel pressure regulator plugs into the tree on the driver side at the top of the side of it. My 91 was a change over year and may not be exactly like your 94. Look at this thread for pictures of a 460 vacuum diagram. Not sure of the year. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...onnection.html
