Is this the tranny with the cover on the side? The head of the pin is under the cover. Drive it back out from the other side. I’m reassembling mine right now, I’ll take a picture.

Yes Cover on the side. Is that the Reverse pin? and the Counter Shaft pin. I'm talking about the Shaft pins. Is that one long pin?
Thanks
Glen
Also, if you’re going to remove the cluster gear, (it seems like everything you do involves removing the cluster gear) cut a wooden dowel to insert as you’re removing the shaft.
Same issue, excuse if this is a redundant question
[QUOTE=pintoplumber;20415025]One long pin. Mines overdrive, but the main case is the same.
Any chance you can explain to me how to remove this pin ? Rebuilding the same transmission, I don’t see anywhere to punch it from the opposite side, Thanks for any help
Your question timing is perfect. My transmission is on the work bench right now. The pin hole is on the bottom of the transmission left bottom side of this picture. The pin head is shown on the bottom right of the 2nd picture.
This is the bottom side of the transmission. Use a pin punch and drive the pin up and out. Side cover must be off.
