I am going to do up an old 52 Aussie coach built F6 - Rat rod. I would love to know more about it, as I am sure you are aware there is not much to find on the internet. I think it should be the perfect rat rod build that should not upset too many people as I have to heavily modify it to be able to register it in Australia, i.e. steel out internally etc (it has wooden frames inside, including the doors and floor..). I also do not want to over capitalise on it i.e., paint work etc, as I am pretty sure it is not going to be as saleable and sought after as the F1's.
Any links, history, advice, etc would be appreciated.
[QUOTE=seaves46;20399873]That looks like it's home built not coach built .
Doors should be all steel , and the back of the cab and roof look like a farmer has done it.
I have been told it may have been a bus with military, it has a badge attached to the driver's door with a build number.

When I worked for a auto salvage yard, I had a co-worker who was from New Zealand and a we had a body shop client who was from Australia.
And those 2 guys constantly gave each other a hard time...it was very funny.
Just adding this comment to get this post back to the top.
Can anyone help? Does anyone know any Aussies on here that might know more that I could DM?
Thank you in advance.

G'day Mate!
I absolutely LOVE this truck!!
What part of the country are you in?
I have a 51 truck cab that I bought just to take the RHD dash out of........that would leave the roof, rear wall, door openings and doors that you might want to purchase from me????
Anyway.....I'm in Melbourne. flick me an email - kustomsamurai at hotmail.com
I wouldn’t be too fast to dismiss it as home built. This M-H pic I have archived has a similar cab. Windshield is different, and left hand drive. Don’t know the country of origin. Stu
