I'm looking for folks that have had good experiences with a window tint shop south of Atlanta? I have found one I think I like, The Tint Shop in Milledgeville, GA. They are not too pricey but they are 90 miles away AND they have a 3 week back log in their calendar. Which tells me they must be good. They also are certified dealers for Llumar, Formula One, Huper Optik and others, while most tint shop won't advertise what films they carry. And the other shops around here are kind of dumpy.
Anybody have a good experience at a shop on the south side of Atlanta? Unless I find something better, since I'm retired I'm just going to run out the calendar and make the drive. Only have to do it once and I don't have to get on the freeway!
I can whole heartedly recommend "The Tint Shop" in Milledgeville, GA. They install XPEL films in several grades and tints, they do good work quickly and the shop is spotlessly clean. Very nice folks. Worth a couple hours drive. Here's a couple of pictures.
XPEL Prime XR, 50% on doors and 80% on the back glass and a 5% visor tint. This is a single layer film with 86% IR reflection rate. I am really more interested in heat reduction than a dark tint. The front side windows you can just notice the tint when you are in the truck. I wanted night vision clarity. The IR reduction works so well I had to adjust the A/C to keep from freezing on the way home.
