95 f150 rear tank issues

95 f150 rear tank issues
when i bought the truck rear tank didnt work, finally tried to fix it so i replaced the pump and got a new tank. it seemed to work fine at first but kinda stoppeed and just started sputtering and sounding like it was cammed/out of gas when its not. fuel gauge also now doesnt work so im thinkijng possibly a wire issue? anyone have any ideas before i drop the tank again?

There isn't one on a 1995 model year gas engine truck.
There is one of those and can cause issues.
