Normally I’m on FTE for my truck, have gotten a LOT of great info to keep that running well, almost entirely DIY. But I’m just not set up to handle this problem.

I need a shop around PHX that can pull the engine from an oversize 2006 E350 (V10 6.8). This a small shuttle bus, larger than a passenger van but not huge — 138” wheelbase cutaway cab with 7’ wide fiberglass body, about 9’ tall. Smaller than a class C RV but big enough that most shops balk at it, and the cab won’t come off. I have a few more diagnostics to do but all signs point to a head gasket (or cracked block). It runs like s#it and is pushing coolant out the bottle once it gets hot - half a gallon in 200 miles, but the coolant is still clean and so is the oil.

I sure hope I’m wrong, but just in case I’m not I want to start off in a shop that can handle the worst case and won’t just bump me down the road.

I’m in AZ for winter but don’t live here. For many reasons DIY is not an option for this repair. So I’d be very grateful for recommendations of shops that can fit my shuttle, confirm my diagnosis, and be willing to pull this engine to fix. Am currently in Payson but I figure it’s best to bring it to PHX to cover my bases if it’s a worst-case situation.
