Hope everyone is doing good. I have migrated into different hobbies and interests so in an effort to keep the Georgia forum viable I am wondering if anyone might be interested in becoming the Chapter leader?
Chief I think your doing a great job. I've just had too much on my plate this year. I'm doing good so thanks for asking. Health wise I'm doing better than i was when I joined the Georgia chapter. COVID was a witch with a capital B of you catch my drift.
. But I enjoy coming here and reading different posts and DIY projects. And simple things that people do like research on parts and accessories. Sometimes something as simple as replacement of a reverse light or back up bulb can be 4 to 8 times brighter or disperse the light better than the factory bulbs at little or no extra cost.
Also we find out what not to buy as replacement parts due to poor engineering or quality.
I don't drop in enough to keep up with all that the chapter members are doing to their rides but do enjoy the forum. If you do step down, someone has some big shoes to fill.
Chief if nobody else wants to take it I guess I can handle it. I know I haven't been on lately (dealing with family). But thing are settling down now. And yes you will be a hard act to follow.
Thanks guys!
It has been a pleasure and I have been on here for I don't even know for how long now. The last few months I have been so busy at work and taking care of Family and stuff. I just feel bad because I have been neglecting my duties here.
Love my job as an Auto tech, great hours, good pay and no stress. The last few months I have been basically restoring my 2007 Cadillac Escalade ESV, I just love that SUV. I bought a 2003 Mini Cooper and fell in love with it. So much so I bought a 2005 Mini Cooper S Cabrio to tow behind our motor home on vacation. Super fun little cars. Thinking of retiring at the end of the year. Thats my life in a nut shell.
Good luck Chief. Stop by and let us know how you’re doing from time to time. You’re always welcome to join us at the N GA 7.3 PSD gatherings. We seem to have a number of retired military guys that come. I’m sure you’d enjoy yourself.
Bringing this thread back to the top, since as of today, the Georgia Chapter now has 21 new members, some of whom have been waiting to be approved into the chapter since 2022, when this thread was posted.
There remains an opening for a new Georgia Chapter Leader.
