Does this sound right? 1937 1 1/2 ton 59L with 59 a-b heads
Bought a restored chassis and drivline today. Am told it is a 37 flatbed. It has the steel bed frame. All mechanical brake linkage. Rebuilt transmission withrebuilt flathead.
block is stamped on the bell housing 59L. Heads are stamped 59 A-B. 24 bolt heads.
Is this a good engine, average engine, or poor engine.
Transmission looks to have a plate for a pto to be added.
I am new to flatheads and trying to gain knowledge.
