Hello All,
Wondering if anyone has any input on the effects of trimming the exhaust pipe at the connection point of the exhaust tip vs. leaving the pipe untrimmed and running it inside of exhaust tip?
Generally I'd recommend the exhaust pipe should terminate before any downstream widening due to the tip.
Yeah, it's a 4" MBRP exhaust with 5" tip. My gut feeling was the same as what you suggest. I'll cut the exhaust pipe back to the end of the clamp surface right before it widens to the 5" piping at the in tip. Thanks
