Air Bag Light Stays On?
From what I have found that is telling me it's code 15. I have seen several error codes in research with code 27 being one of the most common.
My passenger air bag light is working and it does cycle and go out.
I should say recently I added power heated mirrors and tapped into wires under the dash for running light, left and right turn and a power directly do the fuse panel fuse 27 for customer access.
I tested the wires I tapped into for running, left and right turn and they were the correct wires.
I checked the fuses in the fuse panels related to the air bags and they are good.?

This may be dumb, but did you check under the driver's seat to see if your AIRBAG electrical connection is secure and connected properly ?
If you somehow disconnected that connection directly under the driver's seat, your air bag light will stay on. Ask me how I know.
From a post out of the thread below:
DTC: Diagnostic trouble code, retrieved using scan tool.
LFC: Lamp fault code, flashed on air bag indicator.
Tone will sound only if additional DTCs are present

When I tapped into the main wire harness under the dash according to the Mirror installation instructions I had to remove some factory tape around the harness. After tapping the wires I re-wrapped the harness.. I removed the tape to check the wires I added and gave the wires a little more room. Success! Light is out. All I can think of although I can't see anything maybe when I removed the factory tape I nicked something?
I'm going to leave the 6 inch area where I removed the harness tape free for now.
If problem flares up again I may have to go back in there and examine the wire harness more closely.
