Like the Title says, a friend of mine is looking at this 01 7.3L. He send
s me a picture of the engine and I notice allot of oil on top of the turbo plenum. Just curious on everyone's thoughts of what might be causing this? Thanks in advance
From that picture, I see oil residue on the turbo to intercooler charge pipe...is that what you're talking about? If so it's probably coming from that boot connecting the tube on top. It may also be coming from the high pressure line from the HPOP to the drivers side head, but that's not likely given it appears it's not fresh oil residue and the boot below that also looks clean.
