Good Morning West Virginia and Happy New Year Jim, Wraith, Ken, Bud, Shan, George, Neil, Roy and all the crew.
As we skip ripping off the calendar page and replace it with a new calendar, let the year 2021 and it's bad attitude pass and the New Year 2022 be a far better one.
Good morning Rod...Jim...wishing you and yours a happy and healthy New Year!!! I stayed up after midnight...not to welcome in the New Year...but...to make sure the old one actually left!!!
Good evening Wet Virginia, Steve, George, Ken, Neil, Bud and all the crew.
We had a great New Years day and Mom had a great 91st Birthday! Too much to eat and but plenty of god company with the kids and a good friend!
Joyous Sunday morning West Virginia, Jim, Denny, Bud, Shaun, Neil, Steve, George, Roy and all the crew reporting.
Thanks Ken, it was a good day.
Spent the night with her again last night. Heavy rains and some flooding in the area with the almost 3 inches we received. I really didn't want to be on the country back road after dark. Mom was very happy I did.
Morning Rod, Jim, all WVa and visitors..... back country roads in WVa isn't someplace ya wanna be all alone !
Bud, They don't bother me day or night unless the weather is bad or it is a road that I know floods! OH and it is flooded today and closed in 3 places!
Made it back from the hills without hide nor hair of snow once again. No rain on the way home Friday. Rained like crazy Saturday and Saturday night. Even had some lightning and thunder just after dark Saturday evening. Got back down here this afternoon without seeing the rain or snow, again. We'll see what tonight/tomorrow brings us down here. I'd kind of like to try out the new F250 in the snow.
Glad everyone had a great weekend. Going home is always a great weekend. Always a bit difficult to come back down here. The dogs sure were glad to see me when I went out there just at dark. They got to split up some KFC biscuits and then got their usual big dog biscuits and some petting and fresh food in their food bowls. Last I hear it was supposed to be somewhere around 14 F here Tuesday morning. What's it supposed to be up in the hills?
Have a great evening. I'm drinking coffee (decaf - wife won't drink regular coffee in the evenings, say it keeps here up too late, claimed by someone who can fall asleep while drinking regular coffee in the morning ) and eating some of the gluten free chocolate chip cookies my mom made for my weekend at home. Also brought down the left over Oreo/cream cheese cake, potato salad and two containers of mom's gluten free sausage biscuits (have to put one in the freezer till the first one's gone.)
