Sitting in a field somewhere waiting on some chips. Do you have a VIN? If not check the dealer and see if Ford cancled your order. Seems like Ford is doing a lot of that these days.

Ah yes. The chip shortage. It is quite the manufactured crisis, eh?
The same is starting to roll (and did on Biden's 1st day in office) with fuel - hitting the supply network (pipelines, trucking etc).
Strap in and hold on.
My '11 has been down for a month - can't get parts. That is aside from it sitting over 2 weeks just for them to diagnose. With any luck we'll have parts this week. Fingers crossed. Somehow I think it is going to be down for quite a while longer. Maybe I'll get it back for Christmas.

Order number is just that. There is a different number that means that your truck is being built. Someone here may be able to remember what that is. It they assign you a Vin then it's on the line.

Some guys are waiting for 4 months. You do know that dealers dont have many new trucks on the lot. Ford is not pushing your truck back. Click on the link I posted above. If you don't have a vin then I doubt that your truck is in line. You need to find out if Ford has excepted your order first. The dealer can find thast out for you. 6 weeks was before the chip shortage

Sorry about that. The auto industry is a mess. They have all these 21's that aren't being sold and the 22's supposed to be on dealer lots months ago. I do know that Ford doesn't deliver a single car to dealers. The truck needs to be full of cars for that dealer. They don't just drop one car then go to the next dealer.

well, Ford has been NO HELP!!!! Dealer is great,,, my order number is setting at a number 2,,, FORD, WHY WONT YOU BUILD MY TRUCK??!!!! I’ve been waiting 6 months!!!

When I learned of this, I had my dealer make sure I didn’t have that option on my truck.

By now the 22's are being built. I believe they canceled lots of orders for 21"s and now have made people reorder there vehicles and for the kicker there is a price difference. I do hope they didn't do that to you but the 22's should have been on dealer lots for about 3 months.
