banjo rear rebuilder?
My 1945 half ton blew the banjo rear. I got the book and could do it, but would rather use a reliable restorer within a days drive (500 miles) or so from upstate NY. Does anyone know of a reliable and reasonable shop that can rebuild a banjo rear? I can trailer even further for the right shop. Thanks...

I'd give either Joe's Antique Auto in Uxbridge MA or Chuck's Trucks LLC in Hamden, CT a call and see who they suggest. Chucks' may even do it in house. Joe's is only a parts vendor but Joe is an early V-8 guy and if he has a recommendation I'd take it to the bank. JMO
