Hey all, I'm on Full Force Diesel website looking at my options for dual fuel pump kits. I see the BD kit and the H&S kit listed on their website. I know these aren't the only 2 kits out there but which one out of the two would you recommend the most and/or what other kits are out there that you would recommend more than either of those? Also, I see two primary brands of high performance air to water CAC's one being the Mishimoto and the other being No Limit Fab, again which of these two would you recommend the most or is their another out there that is better? I know I could fab one up using an icebox inside the cab and what not that would flow a hundred times better however I'm looking for one that I can keep under the hood yet add a good amount of cooling.
We're a dealer for Mishimoto and BD. We just received our dual fueler kit for the shop truck.
Keep me updated as to how it goes. I'm quite curious, what are you guys trying to push for power and what turbo setup do you plan to use with the dual fueler?
Probably won't install until late spring. Need to prove out the Vegistroke kit first. We will build 30% injectors and probably be around 700 hp. Hoping to not window the block on the dyno! We run a single S467.
Is the advantage of building the 30% injectors to decrease injector on time....? I've heard that the stock injectors in these motors are good to around 1000hp maxed out. Also how is the spool on that? I've been debating between that turbo or maybe a precision 6466.
I've heard 800 hp stock. Yes, larger nozzle less PW. The turbo is great on the dyno, but it's a dog on the street with stock injectors. Ideally you'd have compounds.
Makes sense, I've been debating on the compound idea for some time now and if money was no object I would probably have one ordered already however looking further at the singe turbo route I think I could get away with throwing more fuel at it to light off the turbo and try to manage EGT's through water meth injection..... at least that is how I picture it in my head. Also running bio would help put some more btu's in the fuel side of things but at the price of some bio around here I couldn't sustain that as a DD. So based on cost constraints I may go the more fuel bigger turbo option and try to see how much I can combat EGT's with the water meth. I am curious however what kind of power I can push off using a stock 18' turbo and dual fuelers/stock injectors with water meth and assorted other mods before I switch to big fuel and big turbo. Hopefully by this spring I can have that setup together and get it on a dyno before the road trip out west. Anybody have a similar setup to this that knows their HP number?
Ok, like the description said very clean. I like that however I feel like I could use more fuel down low to light the turbo or a slightly smaller turbo because I do plan on doing some towing with my truck for now. But then again it would probably circle around to the EGT question
Haven't seen the BD kit, only have experience with the Midwest Diesel and Auto kit, have been impressed overall, only one small issue with a fuel line in +- 5 years, that being said, get a kit that will be in production for a long time, from a large company, such as BD, ATS, or HSM, that way if and or when you do have issues, there may be support. Anyway, one other thing when installing, is if the belt doesn't fit, don't force it, got a brand new Gates belt with the kit when I got it and it wouldn't fit, tried everything we could think of, long story short, belt ended up being 1" too short, ordered the same part number and the one we received was about an inch longer and fit perfectly.

So from what I'm understanding the same H&S performance that went under with the EPA is the same one that makes the kit I was looking at and the retailers must have left over stock from before they went under. Is this correct?

some of the same guys are involved in the HSM products, but it’s not the same company anymore, the tuning company no longer exists, but there’s no connection anymore, so they still research and develop new products. What little I have been able to get my hands on, they’re top notch.
