Anybody having issues with there Paint Pealing off you vehicle's I will never Shop at access ford again.
Sales was great, service was good, Collision department was great.
BUT I had an issue with my truck F-150 Paint was flacking off my 2017.
I took it to service department and they looked it over and said that should not be happening on this new of a model. Then I was told to call the Ford Hotline because they would work with me to resolve this issue. So I did. Then I was told to go back to the service department so they could take PIC's. (Keep in Mind Access Ford is over 40 miles away)
Then the ford Hotline told me to take it back to the Ford Collision Center. When I did the estimator looked at the area of concern and said this is a manufacture defect. He asked ford Hotline in Houston if they would allow the collision center to paint the whole truck because he said when the truck was painted at the factory they did not use enough top coat as required and they are finding other issues with the paint.
Houston Hotline told him no. Mean While FORD WILL NOW Lose a longtime loyal customer
So the dealership did everything they could to help, so why be negative towards them? I wouldn't expect much help on a 5 year old truck and that applies to any manufacturer.
Quality of paints at the factory these days is becoming more and more suspect -- I'm shocked at the amount of orange peel in see in BRAND NEW CARS, TRUCKS these days -- a "feature" from the factory apparently.
