The PA Chapter's "Who You Foolin'" April 2021 Chat and B/S Thread
Sleeping at the switch over here, but that's to be expected I guess with how much I'm working. New month....
April''s coming in with some snowflakes in the air. I don't think we're gonna get what they're saying - anything's possible I suppose - but none the less old man winter's not going down without a fight. But, with April comes spring, and with spring comes the chance to do stuff outside. Big Time Kustoms in NJ is hosting a charity dyno and show in neighboring NJ next weekend (April 10) and I think there's another charity show coming up out this way the following weekend...I'll have to find the date/location on that one. I won't have anything ready for show for either, but...might just go to hang out, we'll see.
In my haste, I really don't have much else...so, you know what to do.
Happy Friday Eve, Gang! Had big flurries and a dusting on the ground for the morning commute. Been a crazy week in our house, so I haven't been that talkative. I hope you all have a great holiday weekend!
Good Morning everyone. Its a little chilly out this morning.
Ran into tuning issues last night. The numbers dont make sense on the dyno, actually lost power as of last night. The shop was doing research and said late last night he might have some good news this morning.
Daron, I've been spending money like a madman lately myself lol. Hopefully some of this stuff starts showing up soon. Some of the suspension parts I need are 4-6 weeks out.
Hopefully they do have good news for you Travis. Odd that it's losing power rather than gaining with all the work you had done.
After talking to two other shops/engine builders it almost seems like the truck lost static compression. I dont remember if the chambers were ported but if they were that might explain the issues. No more fuel was needed because the C/R dropped. maybe the cams need to be degreed more. Not sure cause Livernois wont give any cam specs.
