What mileage do you get?
Once summer fuel arrives, I'll average at least 15 mpg. On the highway on road trips, at least 18 mpg depending on my average speeds. I have the 3.55 gears.
On the highway I see anywhere from 14 to 17 unloaded. Best ever was shy of 18 going 70 mph. If I can get a long run without a regen is better, Trips with a regen will drop a fair bit.
3.55 Rear end as well.
Your mpgs sound pretty normal assuming its in town stop and go driving.

Best is 22.1mpg 90% highway, unloaded.
Worst is 17.8mpg 50/50 highway/city, unloaded.
Average is 19.9mpg, mostly highway unloaded. Truck only has ~5k miles.
Mileage is hand-calculated dividing the trip odometer by the gallons of diesel pumped. No DEF added, to date.
All stock with the factory optional 275/70r18 Goodrich A/T tires. I'm easy on the throttle and cruise between 65-75 on the highway but I make sure to give her at least one solid throttle stomp every time I drive to clear out any cobwebs
There are 3 types of regens; an active regen that the ECM commands when the DPF fills up and the DPF sensor reads higher pressure due to the soot build up in the DPF. Another type of regen is a passive regen and that happens when the temperature in the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) gets up to at least 472 degrees F. That allows the soot on the catalyst or whatever is in there to burn off, but it does create ash which is why the DPF has to be replaced or cleaned depending on the truck. The third regen is a manual regen commanded by the factory software (IDS) by a factory tech, or by FORscan depending what year the truck.
I hear for the newer trucks, you can turn off the auto-regen feature so the truck can go past 500 miles.

Welcome to the forum. Those 10 speed transmissions are doing wonders for mileage I'm sure.

I get 13 around town if I don't pull anything but I always pull at least 6k around town so I get 10mpg most of the time. I get about 10mpg pulling a 8k camper on the hwy as well. I don't know how to go slow, 70-75mph is the sweet spot to prevent getting stuck behind them big rigs.
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Way better than my previous 17 dually with the 6.2, that's for sure!
I can get 17 unloaded if I ever drive that way
As low as 9.5 but usually around 10-12 with heavy towing.
I'd say your is normal for your driving.
Mine is not a commuter or city driving truck so don't think I would do any better in that environment.
My 2020 has gotten better, I suspect because of the 10 speed. I've had a couple tows hit 12 and I got a 22 mpg hiway trip at 70 mph and really really babying it across pretty flat terrain.
How your truck is set up will make a big difference. Bigger than stock tires, lift/leveled, and what rear end you have
My trucks are usually leveled running LT295 tires with a 3:55 rear end.
