Just installed my new 22.5 Tires and rims they Bolt
up directly to my F4 50 frame with no adapters. Tires are Toyo 255/70R225 They fill the wheel wells very nicely. I will try to send pictures keep on trucking
What brand wheel did you end up going with? It's nice they bolt right on to the ten lug 225 lug pattern and they look great. Those trucks have a pretty big wheel opening and you filled it up nice.
Hey Ken the wheels and tires were a complete package mounted balanced I got them through Buytruckwheels.com they fit very nice the Toyo tires are an excellent fit.
They look great! I still may go to an alloy wheel on my '53 someday. Right now I have 265/70R19.5s on Ford steel 6.75" wheels. My Toyos are 34.4" tall, which isn't bad, but It would look better with a 36" tall tire. This is the matching spare I just bought.
The new ones are probably closer to 38" then. I think the F-600s on up and the C-600s
on up have a larger wheel opening than the 500s. I don't think my C-500 fender opening is that long.
It's hard to tell in this one though.
