I'm trying to bleed the brakes on my truck. Bled the rear drum brakes, but I can't get the hose onto the front disk bleeder valve because of its location. Anyone have a trick to connecting bleeder hose to bleeder valve?
In the case of a '93 F150 with 4WD, removing the wheels wouldn't provide access to the bleeder valve, so yes I haven't removed the wheels. I've attached a JPEG of the location. The valve is about 3/4 of an inch from an obstruction is front of it.
I finally did manage to force the plastic hose onto the bleeder valve without the hose pinching off and bled the disk brakes. Luckily the hose didn't pop off while I was pumping the brake pedal.
