I'm the original owner with 45k miles and starting to get "restricted" or "low flow" EGR codes and I'm assuming the cooler is clogged with soot. So looking to get rid of it all but not sure what is available these days? Would like to keep it stock as possible and use blocker plates and keep as much of original exhaust as possible. What are the best options currently available? I've tried reading but a lot of threads are old and I have no experience with any of this.
Not sure you are going to find much on a "delete" kit of any sorts now days. Even if you can delete the EGR by itself, you would need a tuner that are getting hard to find much less people writing tunes.
You can pull the cooler and "rebuild" it. Ford and Dorman makes the parts to replace the cooler core.
With the EPA being ***** out against the delete manufacturers and software writers, you have to find the friend of a friend as all the shops went further underground.
Like Larry said, replace the cooler core. Bullet Proof Diesel makes a redesigned EGR cooler that I believe has a lifetime warranty on it and is redesigned to provide a long clog free life. It's not cheap but might be the ticket for you if you can't delete. Just throwing it out there for FYI.
