Will 2020 F250 Sit level or nose high with 2.5" Coil Spring Front Lift Kit W/Bilstein Shocks Front/R
Ok so I did it, I factory ordered my first Super duty f250 6.7 Platinum. Previous was 2018 f150 lariat with the 2.7. Was looking for the extra power when towing and a generally bigger truck for the long drives I do. So I am looking to put a Ready lift 2.5" Coil Spring Front Lift Kit W/Bilstein Shocks Front/Rear. I opted to get their adjustable track bar as well as the roads I travel on can be on the rough side and long stretches of gravel. Now my concern is will the lift kit cause the truck to sit nose high? Has anyone installed this on their 2020 f250? I know they sit lower than the 2017-2019 but the truck isn't scheduled to be here till October and I am trying to line everything up so the dealer can install all the parts when it arrives as I live 12 hours from the dealership.
2.5 Ready lift on my 20’ f350 sat 0.5 inches higher in the rear when I installed it and the truck was brand new. By eye ball I’m thinking the rear end suspension has settled some now as I tow often, thinking I’ll need 3 or 4 inch blocks soon.
Ok that's good to know I am hoping the rear is a bit higher I ordered the tow package but may just end up ordering 4" blocks for the rear of the truck so it isn't nose high
I'm in the same boat as OP. Wondering if you've noticed a poorer ride quality when you use the airbags to level? Seems like a great solution because you can level it out however you want and you are more level when towing. However, if the price paid is a rough ride I might just go blocks.
Mine is a F350. After installing the ReadyLift kit my truck sits 1/2" lower in the rear than the front. I installed the air bags and at 5 psi I'm still lower in the rear, I have to bump it up to 20 psi or so to get level. At 20 psi in an empty truck, I do start to feel the road more. ( My tires are still fully inflated from dealer at 80 psi) So letting some air out of the rear tires will help. With my GN horse trailer hooked up, I need to inflate to 60 psi to get level. I may come spring replace my 2" block with a 3" block
Yeah, I've seen nose high results with the Readylift 2.5". Usually it's about level front to rear or maybe a very slight difference. I wonder if the long bed has anything to do with a full .5" lower in the rear? Anyway, this confirms what I am concerned about. I think I'm going to go with a 2" level or a 2.5" and 3" blocks in the rear AND airbags (for towing). Thanks
