Leveling kit and tire questions
Leveling kit and tire questions
1999 f250 v10
So the only leveling kits per 4WP are ready lift and starlift or something like that.
are spacers any better than blocks that go on the frame ?
also with a leveling kit do I need longer sway bar links ? Mine are creaking and I was gonna change them but thought i should wait until I level the truck out if I’m gonna need bigger ones.
With a leveling kit I should have no problems with a 285/75/16 on stock wheels correct ?
I just sold my dodge so I’m gonna get everything done in one sitting.
leveling kit, new tires ( current ones are 7 years old....) and fox shocks.

My '01 I purchased had a Rough Country leveling kit. It's a complete new spring pack for the front with a new track bar mount.
The PO alos installed a heavy duty track bar and longer sway bar end links. I'm not sure if it all came with the kit or not.
Only issue is that it raised the front about 1/2" higher than the rear.
I fixed that by installing a 1/2" thick plate onto the stock block.
DO NOT add blocks to the front axle. That's just a accident waiting to happen.
I'm running basically 33" tires on mine with no issues.
