I just got my truck back after having the fuel pump grenade and replacing the entire system. I filled the truck up and added some Archoil for the first time with it. Since then, for some reason the truck has gone through regen 5 times in 493 miles. Does this seem like the truck is learning the new system or does it seem like something sinister is more at play? Could it also be because of running Archoil for the first time? Also, even though it's regenerating so often I'm still get the best fuel mileage I've ever gotten out of the truck. Typically I average in the low 15's and on this tank I'm averaging 16.7 mpg's. Any advice is appreciated. This truck has been awesome for 320000 miles and I'd like to keep it going for as long as I can.
perhaps you are not completing the regen? How do you know and what are you monitoring it with?
I've been monitoring with the Torque Pro app. It's doing complete regens. They typically last for about 25-30 miles of driving. I have a 40 mile commute to and from work. They've been occuring either to or from work daily since I got the truck back.
