Oil Pressure sending unit?

Where is the oil pressure sending unit located on a 94 f 150 with a 5.0?

look at your oil filter then look to the left of it you will see a long hex shape piece sticking out from your block with what appears to be a bell on it. Good luck

Not on a '94. It is a very small pressure switch with a plastic cover located right on the block next to the oil filter. Just follow the sender wire down to it, since it is hard to see. The hex shaped piece and bell shaped unit is pre '87.

Gotchya, I didn't know for sure if there was a difference I figured worse case scenario I was sending him in the right direction. Oh well live and learn, later

I found the difference because I converted my '94 "idiot" sender to a real one. The dealer sold me the 1986 setup to convert it.
