2019 vs 2020 Lift Question
First post here...lurking for a while. If my order works out I'll be in a 2020 f250 crewcab in a couple months.
The general consensus seems to be that the 2020's are about a half inch lower in the front than 2017-2019.
Is the difference in ride height in the springs?...meaning....if you were to put 2.5" leveling springs on a 2020, would it then be the same height as a 2019 with the same springs?
I guess another way to ask the question is... if you put the same 2.5" lift spring on a 2019 and 2020 ...would they be the same height or would the 2019 be .5 inches taller?
Thanks !

I believe the answer to your question is that they would be the same height, with same lift/leveling springs and all else (tires, etc) being equal. Carli put out an article saying that they will be selling 2017-2019 components for the 2020s and will be advertising them as higher than 2.5" lift, rather than design a new kit that is 2.5" over the stock 2020 height. New to this forum.. i have read plenty of useful info on here so thanks to all for that! im still waiting patiently on my 2020 silver spruce Lariat Sport ordered in Dec.. in reference to the leveling inquiries, i can shed a little light here.. the 2020 250s def have a smaller rear block and are bout 1/2 inch lower in the front.. the real plus here is that its only gonna take a very small adjustment to achieve levelness.. there is a truck on here somewhere (maybe username SID17 or something like that) that has a 1.5" spacer up front and it seems to be perfectly level. Its a magnetic sport and looks real smooth! He even states that 1" will look great too and i agree.. seems as though the 2.5" front kits will be too much unless you also add a bigger rear block from past models. If a leveling kit is what your after, then its really a sigh of relief knowing that you won't have to change the geometry of everything up front to achieve this.. which means no ill effects to the factory ride, no relocation bracket, and no shocks bottoming out.. way cheaper too.. im still learning in doing my own research. Which has included stopping at the local dealers to crawl under the trucks to check em out on more than one occasion! I've already got my parts at home waiting for my Ford beast to arrive.. hope this helps some of you.. I really enjoy seeing pics of everyone recieving their trucks.. Helps me remain patient!
