I will start off by saying that I am nowhere near the point of getting rims and tires, hence my dilemma. I currently have a rolling chassis, cab bet nose etc still on the ground. I have a front disk conversion with 11" disks and a Ford 9" with 11" drums in the rear. I have the opportunity to get a good deal on rims and tires at this moment but I am not sure if they will fit. Since the body etc is not on I have no idea if there will be any rubbing etc....what are you guys running? Anybody with good knowledge in this area please chime in. Here are the specs on the wheels and tires I have to opportunity to pick up.
Rims Front Wheel Size (Diameter x width): 17"x 9" Rear Wheel Size (Diameter x width): 17"x 10.5" Front Wheel Backspace: 6.00" (24mm Offset) Rear Wheel Backspace: 6.7" (27mmOffset)
All I can tell you is the tire info is a 245/45 R17 is going to be 25.7" diameter and 9.6" width where the 315/35 R17 25.7 Diameter and 12.4" width and both have a 4.3" sidewall. I think the rear tires are going to be to wide for the rear fenders... but mine is 100 miles away right know.

You are correct. Since posting the thread I went and borrowed a friends offset tool and as suspected the rear will hit the inner bed side. Thanks for the response.
