Wish I could help... I also have a 47 tonner panel. My rear fenders are there but quite rough. Seems they use tire chains a lot in Minnesota. I have spent a lot of time on this truck. Maybe if you search 'Parkers Prairie Panel Progress' you can find my build thread here on FTE. And on youtube search '1947 ford one ton panel' Your truck is remarkably straight. Do you have the running boards? Where are you located?
Your 1 ton panel truck really is remarkably straight! There is an owner's manual available. There wasn't a factory repair manual until the F series fords in '48 as far as I know.
Hello---nice straight Panel. I also have a 1947 Panel, 1/2 ton. California all its life, fortunately, so no real rust. I do need front and rear bumpers and brackets. If you happen to have any spares, please let me know.

This truck is shockingly straight particularly because everything rots here!
I'll follow up on the leads.

Good luck with your search!
Tom
Bumper brackets I have on the front, doubt I'm going to use them...see if you can make them out here
Hi--Thanks for the response. Yes, while the driver side inside bracket looks a bit bent, I can work with that. Let me know how much you'd like for the pair (with bolts that attach them to the frame). Send you price etc to my personal email at tsmithbonterra@gmail.com
I have a PayPal account and can arrange payment that way.

Your truck is in amazingly good condition. After I got the bondo off of mine I found the aluminum tape infrastructure. Now I am rebuilding both rear quarters. Any chance i could get you to take some measurements off of yours?
I don't know how you are doing on your search but Wray Schelin has a shop, Pro Metal Shaping (https://www.proshaper.com/), in Charlton, MA, and offers classes and metal shaping. If you are unsuccessful you can look him up. I have one good fender I could make a flexible shape pattern along with sweeps and Wray can make both fenders from that or teach you how to do it. Good class. I made large patch panels for my rear quarters in one of his classes. Different patches for different sides from one pattern. Pretty cool technique.
