Hello all. Names Jason and I am retired Navy. Love my broncos as my first was a 78 with 35in mudders. Kids were young and truck was definitely falling apart. Just got willed an 88 and working on it to get it road worthy. Lot of changes to it as gas tank change today. Few questions that I can't seem to find answers. Gas mileage is biggest as I am driving from NM to AL. Long road trip. 302 under hood. 31x10.5 T15LT tires.

If it has overdrive I'd guess 13MPG, if not then 11MPG. Also would depend on aerodynamics (roof rack or overhead lights or etc.), how much you run the AC, vehicle condition, how heavy your foot is, how much stuff is being carried or towed, and how fast you go. I'd bet that if you stay above 65 for long you'll see 10 or less.
stay away from larger tires if you want fuel milege, i have a 84 bronco, installed 5.0 roller motor fi,maf 3 years ago. 456 gears,4 speed, 16 to 18 mpg. im 74 not too savvy with computers.
