1975 F250 Trailer Special Super Cab project
I have replaced the shocks, all heater hoses, fuel hoses, and the muffler
with a 460 engine it should have a 750 carb, but it only had a 650 carb, not a big problem right now, but it may be when I actually start using it for towing
it only had 93k showing on the odometer and the seats and pedals and carpet would support that mileage.
my next concerns are the brake lines, the rubber part on the front showed some dry rot and I will be looking to replace those after I get the gas tanks completed
I also noticed a little corrosion on the brake line splitter on the rear axle
while it has no rust holes, it needs some preventative rust management on the interior of the hood and on the interior of the bottom door panel
The radio speaker was original and will get replaced.
I am really looking forward to getting it to a safe reliable driving condition
I will have to find the pic I have of it and use it as my avatar

First verify it being a 390 with a wood dowel in the spark plug hole and measuring the length of the stroke by rotating the crank shaft. Best to have someone to help. One marking the dowl and one rotating the crank by hand with the battery disconnected foe good measure. There are many threads in this forum in how to do that. Many future decisions will be based off that information so best to nail it down and the only true way to know is with the wood dowl stroke measuring test
