1987 Red Interior color

1987 Red Interior color
I’ve tried to find information on this but I can’t seem to get a definite answer. The interior on my 87’ F-350 is a much deeper red than what seems to be the typical red I see on any 88’-91’.
I know the middle letter on the “body code” being “D” denotes canon red. I have that on my 87’. But, I also have that same code on my 88’ and my 90’. They’re definately a lighter red, and all three interiors are absolutely mint condition with no fading.
Does anyone one know the option code or color offer for the darker red? If so, what’s the official color name?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Could the 87's red be the same deeper red that was on the 80-86 models, basically using up older stock? In the past I have had an 83, and 85, and a 89, all red inside. I didn't have any of them at the same time, but I recall thinking the 89 was a lighter shade than the other, older, two trucks.

Interesting that you bring up the Bullnose colors. I have an 86’ with a red interior. I’ll have to go compare as I only drove the truck home and ripped out the motor. I didn’t even think to compare them as it’s pretty dirty and beat in there.
