F250 ball joints

Had to bite the bullet and have a local shop change out the ball joints on my 4x4 F250. They packed the front wheels bearings too. Truck has 140K miles so the originals did pretty good. Now I am ready to put the camper on and head down to Texas for a couple of weeks in mid March. Out the door for a bit over $1000. Only paid $600 for the truck when I bought it. Looking at another angle, that is only about 2 payments on a new truck .Figure to keep driving this beast for a long time.

Sounds about the same as mine. Had ball joints & tie rods done last year at 145k. Cost around 1100 if i remember correctly. Had the truck for 10 years & 85k miles. 93 250
