That's actually more ice than I thought we had. With these freezing and thawing cycles I don't know if I would want to be out on the ice too much. I actually went out and raised the mowing deck on the lawn mower in preparation of all the rocks that I used to be able to mow over growing this winter from the cycles we've had. I didn't want to forget when it is actually time to mow this spring and screw up a blade.
It was a poor storm. I'm waiting for a good snow so I can test the plow I modified for my tractor. I added wings to the sides so the snow doesn't spill over the plow and attached a 2.5" pipe to the cutting blade to prevent moving a bunch of gravel since I have a 300+ foot gravel driveway.
We really haven't had one good snowstorm this year. Any amount of snow we get is accompanied by rain and ice. Makes it useless for anything but a messy commute and heavy shoveling.
